    Description

    This paper weight showing the fire at the Cold Storage Building at the Columbian Exposition in 1893. The photo of the bottom shows some of the red coating missing, resulting in a couple of small places where ther is clear glass. Viewed straight on, this isn't very noticeable and could probably be touched up fairly easily. It measures 3 1/4 inches at the base .
